Re: Lemon and lime soda boat drink

cook with it....there are recipes involving sugary sodas...the ones i read sounded fun...
pork chops like fluids--try that--soda would make it sweet and add chiles and onions and other items--garlic--whatever flavor your tongue seeks...
add to coconut and fruit for drinks with rum...mix with a too dry wine.....
marinate chicken in it...with herbs and garlic and seasonings....
give to kids in mexico.....

Mix the soda into white cake mix to form the batter. Combine with fruits of your choice and put into a dutch oven and bake. Makes excellent fluffy cobbler.

You could add fresh peaches and strawberries and some dry white wine and make a Sangria.

Re: Lemon and lime soda boat drink

Here's an update:

Have so far not gotten beyond using some Mango flavored Rum and the soda. It works very well together. Also soaked some dehydrated blueberries in the rum for about 25 minutes then added the lemon lime soda and ice. Another new taste sensation I'm calling it a "Blue Bianka". Do like the idea of using it in cooking. May try that if the rum runs out.

Re: Lemon and lime soda boat drink

Livin' in the Marianas everyone used LemonLime soda to baste the bbq. Chicken , pig, fish. Punch a hole in the can with an ice-pick and apply as required.
