Look for English canned sausages, Wall's is one brand name. They are te Lincolnshire, Lancastershire type of tasty, herbed sausages that have a lot more breading in them than the American sausages do. I am partial to them.

For general knowledge of food preserving:
Brewed sausage do require always refrigeration up to 4°. They last as long as 21 days in refrigeration.
Air dried sausage do require cooling under 15°. They last under 15° almost 1 year.
Please, do cool down sausage and dried meat as instructed. otherwise you can get some serious long term bacterial problem in your stomach.

Recommendable are air dried sausage like salami, chorizos, dried beef, dried ham, air dried bacon etc. There are plenty types of air dried stuff you can store...
