Piezo ignitor from old Force 10 oven/stove - source needed

The piezo igniter on my force 10 stove/oven is dead. Old like early 1980's. 2 burner plus oven. I am looking for a piezo based replacement. It is a channel products 2-i227 (might be 2-1227). 3 lead. Round lead tabs but i can change to whatever is needed. Channel products had not returned any of my emails, messages or calls for 7 months. Likely they are looking for only large wholesale buyers, not one off replacement sales. If anyone has found a non-battery replacement igniter please post what you used and how you like it.

I love Force 10. They are great in every way and they already offered a way to retrofit a battery igniter (kinda pricey). I am trying to avoid battery ignitors and keep things simple and low maintenance, but more moisture-proof than a match.

t appears to be a common BBQ lighter. Try Home Depot, Lowes, or Ace Hdw

Thanks.
I did. The ones i found were not of a compatible size for either the hole, or the limited internal space. Or they were not 3 lead. It might come down to drill 3 holes in the dial face and mounting 3 small piezos

Since ours became uncooperative we light it with one of the long-nosed barbecue lighters.

I’ve used a striker for a welding torch for about 15 years now, cheap, no gas to bother with, the flints last a long time. My 2 cents.

No reason you can't connect three existing wires to the one wire coming from a new piezo. Just keep in mind that it is high voltage and needs to be properly insulated.

About 10 years ago I had the same problem with a Seaward Princes stove. Those piezos do not last long. I found an RV camper stove that had a 12 volt igniter and called their dealer. I pretended I had the RV stove and the dealer sold me the igniter. I wire it into the same circuit as the electric propane valve so anytime the gas is on there is power for the igniter. I used a momentary switch in the hole from the old piezo to activate the igniter. The advantage of the electronic igniter is that it keeps sparking as long as the button is held in. It still works great after ten years.

When we saw the replacement cost, we just threw our defective Force10 piezo igniter out and bought a piezo barbeque lighter on Amazon. Simple piezoelectric, no flints or butane needed. Ours is a Coghlan's and has the same length as a normal butane barbeque lighter. You can even light the burner with the pot in place.

I fitted an MSR piezo igniter to a marine stove in the past..if not the MSR, there are similar model/sizes for similar camping stoves.

Good luck.
