I've got a mini waeco 18 litre fridge. I've also got the insulating cover which you can buy for them. When doing research on the fridge I read on a 4wd forum that the insulating cover makes a pretty big difference to cooling performance and power drain. Have to say i'm generally pretty happy with how much power it currently draws.

I have 120 watts of solar and an Aerogen wind generator. My laptop is on probably 10 hours a day and fridge is on all the time. If it's a sunny day then that generally keeps batts topped up.

Though any clouds or not much wind normally requires genset running (need a new battery bank).
