West Coast Foodies: Best coastal small diners and bars

I got this idea from another forum subject regarding travel along the Pacific coast: How about some suggestions for memorable small diners and taverns that serve local, fresh food. These should be available to cruisers with relatively little difficulty, at most a short cab ride from the harbor or marina.

I'll start with my locale, San Diego Bay. Shelter Island, just inside the entrance to the Bay, has several. All of this stuff is available on your smartphones:

Point Loma Seafood: fish sandwiches, sushi, a seafood deli, yum!
Mitch's Seafood: Fish tacos and the famous Mitchelada, beer mixed with salsa
Local Brews and Chews:
Pizza Port: international gold medal beers and ales in Ocean Beach, a cultural magnet.
Stone Brewery: more gold medals, located in Liberty Station, old Naval Training Center

Hadlock Cafe. Port Hadlock just south of Port Townsend Wa. Great little spot. Room to anchor in front. The movie stars haunted this place when "an officer and a gentleman" was being filmed... which put it on the map (barely!) Seafood/Italian with a twist.

Add to San Diego:

Harbor Town Pub has great burgers, home made cupcakes, and regular rotating beers on Tap.
Fathom is a little bait shop / beer shack on the shelter island pier that has tons of local beers on tap, cask ale on the weekend and home made sausage. Good kimchi too.

Best clam chowder on the west coast; Spud Point Crab Company in Bodega Bay, right across the street from Spud Point Marina.

Just north of San Diego in the Carlsbad/Oceanside area is Angelo's. Quite possibly the best Mexican food on the planet.
