HEy Everyone!

New to these forums...Sailed in College

Now have four little girls and have been renting small boats and spent some time with Aventura...

Would like to get out on the water more....

Dumb Question I know....how can I just get out with them more in the most economical fashion?

Welcome

My question is...who is them? Your young ladies? If it is then be sure they can swim good. That way they will be at ease on the water.

I guess it would depend on where you are located when you ask how can you get out with them more. Also their ages would be a factor, and what do you consider economical?

You could always buy a 20ft, or so boat for very inexpensive, and sail when ever, and where ever you want. Most likely it will be trailerable, and that opens up a lot of territory for the price of gas. In your mind's eye what would you like to see happen? A family that plays together stays together most of the time.........

There are no dumb questions!

Thanks imagine...in my minds eye...I see

my whole family living on a boat having a great time maybe just for the weekends at first....

Where do I begin in shopping for a 20ft+ boat....I feel so lost....

I just started renting and at $40 bucks an hour it's starting to add up... the rental guys say it will cost more if i buy a boat...

George,

Is there a "boating club" in your neck of the woods? Something similar to the Chesapeake Boating Club, as an example? Chesapeake Boating Club at J/Port | FlexBoating | Sail and Motor Boat Club

The Club owns the boats, and the members use them on a flexible schedule.
