Hey all,

Thanks for your responses. I think I must have confused some people with how I asked my question- it wasn't about how I am going to iron when I go off cruising (trust me, Im not! )

I wanted to know how people got around this when they live on board and yet still have to work in an office each day. We want to anchor out more frequently- but still have to get into work each day looking smart.

I know this is a cruising forum, and this is more of a 'pre- cruising' question, but I thought it might be worth a try. But I really dont like ironing enough to give away the space or weight to one of those old irons when we eventually set off!

I think for now we will just have to iron a load in bulk whenever we come back to shore- and I've found a great 12v iron which seems to do a shirt without fuss.

Sorry for confusing you guys!
