It is not a good idea to report publicly on a sailing forum that you have found boys delectable wrapped in strawberries and cream

These strawberries and cream fetishes are hard to find a home for. Cannot be you SWL because you are spoken for, cannot be boys according to you, that only leaves a question to DOJ. Is it ok to fancy goats in this duet of tastes?

Coops.
Didn't someone suggest sheep were an option for Aussies?

PS Edited to add:
Found it! It was Crabby of course:

The question begs to be asked: Are grey sheep as appealing to Aussie men as the others?

Re: When To Go Gray ...

Tsk, Tsk, lassie. What an active imagination

Whilst I agree that my comment COULD be construed to imply that I found boys in strawberries and cream delectable, the opposite is also true (that I find girls in strawberries and cream delectable).

I am quite content to limit my appetites to the female sex (with or without berries and cream)

Regarding those lovely creatures - as the old saying goes: candy is dandy, but liquor is quicker!

Re: When To Go Gray ...

I can hold my hand over my black heart and swear that grey sheep have the same appeal to me as any other colour.

Q.How do you find sheep in really long grass? A. Lovely!

Re: When To Go Gray ...

And yet, checking in here after many days, as this thread is about to succcumb to silliness, I have lately seen a number of 50-70 yr. old women with long, "grey" hair which was extremely attractive. To me, it depends on the hair and the woman!

Thanks for getting this back on track. It was starting to look like we were going to have to rename the thread from "When to go gray..." to "A Sea-worthy goddess shows her colors".

Re: When To Go Gray ...

A quick question for you color exåerts

Does your hair go gray (with an "a") or does it go grey (with an "e")?

Re: When To Go Gray ...

According to the Grammartist website: Gray and grey are different spellings of the same word, and both are used throughout the English-speaking world. But gray is more common in American English, while grey is more common in all the other main varieties of English. In the U.K., for instance, grey appears about twenty times for every instance of gray. In the U.S. the ratio is reversed.

Interesting question ... I use it both ways but didn't think about until now. I used "grey" on the professional side of my life which involved using colors. On the personal side, I always think about it as "gray".

ahh we're back to the old discussion of which side of the atlantic doesn't speak the language correctly.

both groups sail into harbors, but they must mean different harbours since they spell them differently. perhaps the colour grey is not quite the same as the color gray.

british gals wear knickers under their skirts ( no you americans, I'm not referring to "plus twos" or even "plus fours"), knickers being anything from the aussie rectal floss to the generally less sexy cotton full blown ladies underwear.

Whilst not inconceivable, few british gals would go golfing dressed only in knickers(but would get a lot of attention)

I just made the choice of going " Gray." I swim and outdoors and don't want to mess with color no more...it looks good actually!

Actually, there has been a fair amount of discussion on this matter in some circles, and a leaning by some sorts towards a 4-phased Goddess, embodying Maiden, Mother, Queen, and Crone. Found a neat article for any of y'all interested in following links!

To Be a Queen Among Queens

This thread has more or less voted against the use of the term "crone".
