My 42' Beneteau was about $13K in 2019 in the US.

If yiou are looking for someone to do all the fabricating and the actual work of replacement, about $15K. Assuming that the mast stays up on the boat, and the work is local to the rigger.

There are variables, but for a budget number +/- 15 to 20% that should get you in the ballpark.

I came here to say $12-$16k but the commenters above nailed it.

You could look at Dynema for cost saving many have done it

Re: beneteau 50 standing rigging

Does anyone know if this kind of thing is cheaper in Europe, since Beneteaus are so think on the ground there? Would it make sense to take one to Beneteau's yard in Frnace for a major refit, since they should be familiar with every part and could do it in less time?

Where is the boat now? Certainly not worth moving from US west coast. If your auto needs some major work, would you consider shipping it back to the plant that makes it? It doesn’t work like that. I’d be surprised if the building yard does any repairs after delivery.

LOL, no it wouldn't be. I don't have Beneteau at the moment. But they are cheaper in Europe than they are in California so it mght be worth gong there to buy one. And I like cruisng the Med.
