The new one is taller so less chance of water entering from the waterlock. Mine is S/S and cost over $1000. Check out the new installation manuals for FP generators as the position of the watercock is critical to stop water getting back into the exhaust valve.

I was hoping the shop in Turkey has kept a copy of the technical drawing so could reproduce quickly. Shops in the US are all backed up on much bigger jobs. Do you know what is the difference in the new design exhaust elbow from FP? It costs $450.00 and I think it's still made of aluminum. For that price you would think they could use S/S or cupronickel.

any good s/s workshop - BUT - I would buy their new version and put in a bigger water lock. I've had no problems with the new exhaust.

Hi, can you advise a contact for where you had a S/S exhaust elbow made for your FP generator?
    Thanks,
    Andy
