Hi Rognvald, nice meeting you, i m planing to take off latest this weekend and form what i can see there are few options for anchoring or marinas along the way to Key West. my first option would be Rodriguez Key, the Marathon Marina Boat Yard and then.... i am still looking. if you have any advice is very welcome and if you are doing the same route let s meet up and have a beer.

Alex, You can go to any of the Marinas in Key West Bight although they are quite pricey . . .$2.75 a foot and up to $5.00. In Marathon, you can anchor outside Boot Key Harbor in 12 to 14 feet of water in good holding sand and in Miami--go to Miami Beach Marina inside the Government Cut Channel.
