In one of them, when you were aboard, we were in Elliot Bay, Seattle, sailing in company with the last paddle wheel commercial vessel in the PNW. that vessel is now a marine exhibit in anacortes. Just checking in, as I have not been on this site for a long time.

Hey, Steve. Just got your message on CS forum. I am in the midst of building a 36' DE staysl schooner. Javelin started out as a 30 gaff cutter, but stuff kind of got carried away. I am in Goose Creek SC at the moment, taking care of my 2 1/2 yr old grandson, whose mother went off a really deep end a year ago. My son is in the Navy, so he had to have a care giver. I packed my pickup and drove down here the week before Xmas last winter. He should be done here in January, so I can get back to Maple Falls WA and work on my schooner. Glad you have a little one. The world needs good Dads and I am pretty sure you will be one.
