got my dev environment up and running...
Looking in chart1...

if( m_NMEA0183.Parse() )
{
if( m_NMEA0183.Gga.GPSQuality > 0 )
{
if( !wxIsNaN(m_NMEA0183.Gga.Position.Latitude.Latitude ) )
{

is what I got... the change from Gll -> Gga ( which is what I think your post said )..
was already in the repository.

Going through the debug it appears that the m_NMEA0183.Parse() is failing...
It also fails for Gll but not Vtg.

So something is a little... interesting... with my stream. I will keep digging and see where I get to.
