We took our boat out today, but I didn't see a grouchy guy on the gangway...lol I met a sailnet guy today called poopdeckpappy that has two boats at Kona. Nice guy. He left gave us a pound of Kona coffee beans as a slip warming, and helped us tie up our boat. We been able to meet several people at Kona is the short time we've been there, nothing like our experience at Shelter Island marina.

We finally moved into our slip H-81 at Kona. Hope to run into you someday.
