No I haven't sailed over. I had planned to sail over but plans have changed. I have a house here, and have spent 3 years in the South China Sea while in the Navy. I did plan out the trip at one point by leaving SF in Nov. to HI, which should have been around 3 weeks. Then layover in HI until Jan then set off to Guam, the Marshall's or other Islands along the way. That would give me the proper winds and get me to the Philippines before typhoon season. I got my cruising info out of Jimmy Cornell's book for proper times and routes. That leg should have been 6-8 weeks depending on how many stops along the way. The nice thing about Guam and the Marshall's is they are US based. No need for immigration papers except maybe proof of ownership of the boat. I was going to check into Cebu on arrival.

Hi like to ask if you sailed from California to the Philippines? If so how many weeks or months took to reach your destinations? Where port of entry? Thanks
