    Nah, not really.
    I usually anchor in good sand and avoid mud on purpose.
    The few times I had no choice I put out more chain.
    Perhaps also lucky with benign weather the few times I anchored in mud.

    Hi,

    Saw you mention you use a Rocna anchor. Some of the tests I have seen show the anchor having trouble resetting in a muddy bottom after a 180 degree shift. In the test they motored the boat back directlyover the anchor Have you had any problems with your Rocna after a current or wind direction shift?
