Seems to be holding up fine. Don't even recall exactly what I did. Haven't thought about it in years and it works well.

Hello, I came across your posts covering the headstay replacement in your roller furler. I have done the same, but my Harken Mk1 is missing it's locking collar. You said that instead of the locking collar you went with a regular locking nut. Did you simply put one nut on the stud to lock it against the turnbuckle assembly and how has that held up for you? I am planning to take this route, but I thought I'd reach out to see how it has worked for you. Thanks for your time!
