Too many words for one post.

Let me know which boats you're interested in.

Would it be very difficult or costly to transport a Niagara 35 from Midland to Kingston?
Which marina in the Kingston area would you recommend?

I appreciate any advice on purchasing a boat, comments about the Kingston sailing community, sailing stories from your own experience...

    Warm regards- Lisa

    Hi Hamburking,

That's quite the range of boats you've been interested in. What is your current boat? Where do you keep her? Have you been sailing a long time?
I've been driving myself crazy with looking at boats for sale, their specs, reviews, where they are... It seems the older boats around Lake Ontario aren't set up as well for blue water cruising as those comparable on the east coast. I think the most important thing is how well the owners have taken care of them. It would simplify matters to buy a boat on or near Lake Ontario. I looked at a Niagara 35 Classic this last weekend. I wouldn't buy the one in Gananoque that I looked at, but there are a few others that seem like worthy contenders. Besides the Niagara, I'm looking at PSC 34, Pearson 35, Pretorien 35, Cape Dory 33, Island Packet 35.
