Hi Valhalla360 - we are about to sign up for a new build 34ft catamaran (Broadblue 346) of similar size to yours and planning to commission it as a motor boat/diesel electric hybrid with 2 x 9kW thrusters for main propulsion, a battery bank of 30-40 kWh, large solar panel estate (approx. 20 sq.m.) and gen set of around 14kW power. We would be very interested in your experiences and comments on our plans. We have settled on the propulsion manufacturer (Vetus, their new E-Pod) but not yet on other suppliers. Where are you based?
