I just read your post about a one-way from Saint Martin to BVI on VPM Bestsail catamaran. I got a really good offer from them for SXM->EIS one way catamaran charter (I'm going to move the boat asap to BVI and pick a few of my friends on Tortola). It would be really great if you can help me with few questions.

1) My usual broker I used for a couple of years advises against VPM because as quoted "their boat is not in a good shape". It looks that you have chartered with them a number of times. Did you had any issues with VPM boat conditions or VPM itself? I do understand that that is the smaller operation - not Moorings or Sunsail, but is it really bad?

2) On a SXM -> EIS itself - did you had any issues? For me - it looks like mooring at West end is the most convenient port of entry. Am I missing something?

I hope that you will be able to clarify things on VPM for me. I'm kind of scarred because I have never used this company before.
