    Hi MC
Thanks for contacting me about Pelican.
I owned a fibreglass centre cockpit Spray 36 and she sailed so easily in light air on smooth water. We once ghosted past another cruiser doing probably 2 knots better. We snuck up on him so quickly and quietly that he jumped with shock to find us about 20 feet from his stern and passing.
I agree that light air sails would get her going even better. The new owner wanted to take her out in a near gale for a test sail. She did not go so well, but put that down to poor sail set and boat control as he, his wife and I were all leaping around in the cockpit with sheets everywhere and the boat lurching madly. The boat was called Spray Dancer - it's on the Spray Society's Spray List web page.
Can I post your comment on my Spray Ahoy! page? Would like your name, if that's possible. I know it blows your MC cover .....
If you come on other Sprays in your area, please let them know about my site.
    Happy Spray sailing
    Geoff Robertson

    Hi Geoff,

I just bought a 1983 BR Spray 36' steel cutter. Thanks for the society link and your comments.
