Hi Scotty, I am headed to NB this weekend. Weather probably wont be great but flight booked long ago. Thanks for the tip about Bridgeton Marina. I had checked them out a few years ago. Looks like they have a lot more infrastructure and capacity now than they did then. I will check them out while I am there. Am hoping to get s/v Untethered in shape for that magic day when I "sail off into the sunset". What is your boat name. Hey Captain Dave! Sorry I seem to have not noticed this PM in the box. So sorry!
My boat is on the hard at Bridgeton Boatworks. Has been there since New Years Day. Life has been very busy and I have not been able to get down there much to work o her. I live in Winston-Salem which is 215 miles away.
I have docked her at Bridgeton Harbor Marine for a couple of years and it is a good place. The Dock Master is one of the best, and there are lots of good folks around.. I am considering moving to Northwest Harbor just to be a little farther down river and closer to the weekly racing scene.
I like and respect the staff at Bridgeton Marine so try them for the Tradesmen questions.
I HOPE to get down there during Oct to get the bottom finished and a some deck and below decks painting finished.

Hi Scotty. I have an '81 Tartan 33 also based in New Bern. Am in process of adding upgrades (electronics and canvas). Most of the rest of the boat in pretty good shape. Where do you keep your Tartan and do you have local network of vendors that could assist me with my upgrades. Hope to hear from you and look you up next time in New Bern which should be in the next month or two. Thanks Dave
