Hi Josh,

its a bit light on for boats doing long passages from Cape Town this time of year but there should be some costal stuff between you and Durban. Give the Roayl Natal Yacht Club a call and see what series they have coming up, or who is doing a passage. Maybe they have a crew form on their website etc.
Also your local clubs should start their Spring offshore series soon. Great fun and great learning

I'm planning on sailing from Cape Town to Brasil next Jan/February. I don't have any sailing experience but will do a course beforehand and spend some time out on the open ocean.

Do you have any advice on people I should speak to who do that trip and might need crew? Not looking to make cash, just the experience and to get me over there,
