    Hi Jason,

I apologise I didn't see this message until this morning..

We are a couple and handle the 52F no problem, though for longer passages of course we take on extra crew. She is a very voluminous boat no doubt and present as very big, but to our delight handles and sails very nimble and well, she isn't a performance design Im sure you know that, I always worried about bigger boats but the truth is the longer you sail them and become used to them the easier it is. I am familiar with the 450 and in fact started our boat search planning to buy one but happened upon our 52 by chance and couldn't say no. A great size to accomodate friends and family and certainly has that luxury space feel when compared to the 450. Hope this helps and all the best in your search, if you do have any further questions feel free to email message me cheers, Peter.

    Hi Peterg,

I have come across a post from a while back and you stated you had a Lagoon52. I am currently deciding between a Lagoon 52s or 45s. In all honesty, the front runner is the 52s.

If you have some time, I would appreicate if you could provide me some quick feedback from your experience.

My biggest concern is how well it handles and is it too big of a boat for a couple to handle? So you are aware, my budget is not limited and I can add all the bells and whistles to amke sure I get what I want.

Merry Xmas to you and your family.

    Jason
