2001 Farrier F36/39 Ian Farrier supervised the building
Ian said to me that she is the best example of all his F36 that were built. The level of craftsmanship is outstanding. The build sheet record 2,000+ hours of sanding and fairing just the interior finishes! Having sailed her these past 7 years from Canada to New Zealand.... I can say without hesitation that she is the fastest and best handling boat I have ever sailed off-shore. We are seriously loaded up to the max displacement (down 4" on her light displacement water line) and she still turns in 300+ mile days, goes to weather in 27 foot seas and 45 knot winds gusting 65-80. Yet she sails like she is on rails at 13 knots down wind at night without a care of a broach. Just an astounding design.
