Picture 63 of 69 from Album 1962 Columbia 29 MK 1, hull #37
I really like the look of a keel and rudder with no cut-out (aperture) for a prop. Give it about 8 more feet of overhang bow and stern and it would have lines that look suspiciously like its namesake, US16, "Columbia," the 1958 America's Cup winner, also designed by Olin Stephens. That boat was skippered by Briggs Cunningham, a race car driver who was also a sailor and for whom the Cunningham luff tensioner is named.
