Picture 45 of 93 from Album Channel Islands
Forney Cove, west end of Santa Cruz Island, looking southwest to Santa Rosa Island. A spectacularly beautiful cove, with good protection from northwest weather, but if a large swell is running it can get bumpy in there at high tide when swells break through the isthmus. Anchor in 25' away from kelp. Grass and kelp can foul the anchor here so be sure you are well set.
