I was reading your post and noticed your mentioning chain plate replacement issues. I did a lot of sailing, doing deliveries and found issues like that on all the production boats I sailed, Fiberglass constructed boats seemed to have a lot of fatigue and leaking issues. I ended up with an Aluminum boat for those reason. I bought her in 2002 she is now for sale. I would be glad to talk to you about it. I am in Northern California. 47 ft custom gary mull design.
