SS refit custom mast step and Keel bolts with SS backing plates, note elaborate stress radial thrubolting...Great and strong!!!! Better than 1976 factory fitting...she is fully an 1 1/2" + thick in this area..no core anywhere,..hand laid...the only problem with these boats was the mild steel used in the step and bilge fittings...Now that all that has been replaced and refit with thick SS she's ready for another 50 years or so... she's a Beautiful 40 yr old tank that sails and handles great! And will for many years more...thanks to extensive, time consuming refit, well deserved on such a fine design...
