hi Steve. You have commented on my c80 post before, i see you have experience with the same setup that i a trying to figure out. icommxa5000. i connect the gps to icoms data in port and the nmea 0183 from chartplotter goes to data out in the icom. i have gps on c80 but also "no ais" icon with red cross over it. How do i know if i a getting signals? i believe, if i had the right connections or working AIS unit, that icon would turn green. Can you help me? Thanks in advance.
