    Hey Doug,
Now I am equally guilty in responding slowly. We have probably met, at least if you are the Doug I am thinking you are. I live (lived) in Longmont and was a member of USC 5-8 years ago. I did a little racing in the Laser fleet though I was usually near the back. 5 years ago my wife and i bought a Tartan 4100 and three years ago moved to an Antares 44i. Our time aboard had been increasing yearly so that we now live aboard about 9 months of the year. We still have a home in Longmont and are actually back for a month right now visiting family, etc.

    Hello Doug,
Sorry, I didn't see your message until just now.
Do you sail in Colorado? I'm very active at Union Sailing club where we sail dinghys. Some of us enjoy round-the-cans racing, but it's also just nice to get out on the water. In the past we've been pretty active sailing at Carter Lake, and we still own a 22 footer but it's not in the water right now.
Currently, we're enjoying taking trips to the Caribbean when we can, and we're in the process of buying a 45 footer to keep in charter there to see if we enjoy taking longer trips down the island chain.
    cheers
    Doug
