turning on to 82 y/o started to introduce some changes on my sailing/cruising
getting my Cape Dory 30 ready to sail south or the remaining of the season.

    Abacos?
Spending more time and money in marinas,I accept that as the price to continue sailing/cruising.
The only fear I have is losing my boat, sailing shallow and coral reef waters alone.
Have plenty of experience sailing the San Blas islands, no problems, but we were 2,one person always looking and reading the water and given instructions.
Not sure what will be like depending on marinas in the Bahamas and what it is like, in a slip, what the areas with marinas offer? like walking opportunities, places to visit, etc.

I am content with life in my boat and having some coffee shop by, an informal eating place, always curious about people.

Any comments regarding the Bahamas you may like to share will be appreciated.

    thank you

    PS
hope you have worked out the "sunglasses situation"
