Caption:Enterprise, hull number 99, a Newporter 40 built at the Stowman Shipyard in Dorchester, NJ, in 1964. The Newporters are 40 foot on the deck, 13 foot beam, Ketch rigged and of approximately 24,000 lbs displacement. Construction consists of oak framing with fir plywood planking covered with fiberglass. Power is a 59 HP Ford tractor diesel converted for marine use. Fuel and water tankage is 130 gallons of diesel and 155 gallons of water.
