1987 Mirage 35 brought back from dead
Cleaned old silicone off original portlight frames, had powdercoated, set new cast acrylic lenses in Dow Corning window silicone, and re-installed...
Cut hole, then built out curvy ergonomic cockpit wall with thickened polyester resin to accomodate shower, port side, cockpit.
New teak weatherboards and above is new companionway slider of powdercoated 1/4" aluminum plate.
New stainless steel watertank made to fit into bow space under vberth.
Storage pockets cut into areas behind setee cushions and also in vberth, on both port and starboard sides.
Removed rotten core, replaced with marine ply set in thickened epoxy, several lawyers of glass applied to tie it all together.
Dripless coupling added
Replaced faulty fixed ports with exterior-mounted 3/8" cast acrylic windows but found them ugly so removed them.
Composting head to replace holding tanks, macerator, etc.
Stress cracks channelled out and filled with West Systems epoxy
Bottom taken to bare surface, barrier coated, epoxied, then Micron CSC applied
