Congratulations on your purchase, I think. All of the 46 owners here are having serious issues. Two of the initial 46’s de-masted fortunately no one hurt. Lagoon has grounded all of the 46’s released they have no idea why masts are falling no one can sail them at all even in light wind. Several owners have walked away from their boats. Lagoon is quiet at the moment but probably new mast sailed rigging or scrape the first 40 boats. No one knows. There are some serious quality/ structural concerns be cautious until this is definitely resolved. Not sure of my plans will possibly head back the USA as there is currently no timeframe on resolution. They halted releases of anymore 46’s. Sorry to be bearer of bad news but not looking good at the moment I suspect lots of lawyers will be involved.

Hi Scott! Just thought I’d make contact ... I’ve also bought a lagoon 46.. via the Barcelona agent Javier ... but don’t get her till next year ... so I’m writing to see if you still need crew... would be great to go sailing on a 46! I’ve been sailing all my life and racing ... rented catamarans in the past and apart from racing fungus etc been racing on my uncles swan 48 for many years.. I live in Gibraltar .. and would be keen to do any of the legs you’ve mentioned .. I’m retired although 60 years young!! Lol.. well if you have space let’s see if the dates match!!
