    Thanks! It has a raw water pump, but it's a pully-driven one. I suppose I'm going to have to have two belts to drive this and the alternator.

    People are saying the governor may need to be re-worked. I'm sending the injectors out, but looks like it's pretty good to me. Anyhow, thanks for your reply.

    Many gensets have a radiator for cooling, like a car, thus no raw water pump. You will need a front gear cover from a raw water/heat exchanger cooled engine. The one from your old engine may fit.

    Hi oldcal46skipper!

    I'm currently looking at replacing my 4.108 with a 4.108 that came off of a Kohler generator. The engine looks a bit different on the pulley side. I can't seem to see a raw water pump, etc. I'm only looking at pictures. Do you know of any big reasons why this engine wouldn't be a suitable replacement?
