Hi ocenluvr! I'm really sorry for not responding sooner, I'm not a lot on the forum, and I didn't even know these private messages existed. Yes, in March I bought a boat near Ellös, north of the island of Orust, and on the 1st weekend of April sailed it down to Copenhagen with my girlfriend and two friends. It was a freezing ride, and we did it in 40 hours non-stop! But yes, Copenhagen (Ishøj) is my home port for now, and I'm currently sailing in the Roskilde Fjord. If the weather allows it, I'm hoping to spend some more weeks in September going back north in Sweden, to have some more time exploring the areas that we whizzed by on our way down. The Bay Raider looks great! Are you still planning on coming this way to do some sailing? And which harbour is your son keeping the boat in, do you know? Cheers, Pete

Hi, I recently read that you sailed your boat from N. Sweden to Copenhagen. Is that your home port? My son and his wife live in Copenhagen and he just took delivery of a Swallow Bay Raider 20'. He and I purchased it together. He sails extensively in that area and I will be visiting from the US in Aug/Sept to do some sailing with him.
