    Hello Iain,

I've sailed a lot with Orana and still own one in our charter fleet. There is one in Marmaris for sale and I went to see her for someone who wanted to buy her. ıt's in terrible shape and requires min. 20-30 of servicing. (I think the name was Petrovic ?)
Yesterday the russian owner of this boat has contacted me and asked us to fix the boat. (I own a charter and service company with 20 people, also acting as a service point for Fountaine Pajot)
Almost all of Oranas have suffered from Osmosis. We treated 4 Oranas including mine under the warranty of the factory and all of them have never had any problem later on..
For the rest, the boat is a very good one, sails well, is a good compromise between space and performance.

I can also consider selling my Orana at the end of this season.
You can write me on at atila at ossyc dot com , if you need more info.
My name is Atila, Yeloya is the nick name that I use on CF.

    Cheers

    Yeloya (Atila)

    Hello Yeloya,

My Name is Iain Henderson I am from NZ but live in Amsterdam currently. My wife and I intend to begin cruising permanently from mid 2022. We are looking for a suitable catamaran and like the Orana 44. I was hoping to get your opinion on the performance, pros and cons of these vessels as I see you have much experience with yachts in general and Orana's in particular. I have been in contact with a few sellers one in Marmaris, which I am interested in but from what I have been told needs alot of work, which I am ok with in terms of I have the time and ability to do this but I am concerned about osmosis. I have owned a yacht with this and fixed it myself but also worry about resale and the scale of the work on a cat.

Would you be will to speak with me about this?

    Thanks and kind regards
    Iain
