Massey Ferguson tractors were not much in evidence in Germany, the OP's country of residence. Peugeot passenger care were all over Europe 30 years ago and even as late as 2007(?) when a corporate restructuring took place and the Peugeot factories in Europe and England began to close down. European mechanics' supply houses, equivalents to NAPA in the US, will be able to supply the relevant cartridge right off the shelf.

Present day MF tractors are not really MFs. They are Chinese machines carrying the badge by right of purchase. The engines are various, I believe, one of them being the very Kubota that is the basis for the machine in TP.

Massey, later Massey Ferguson, was at one time the mainstay of Canadian agricultural equipment manufacture. The firm was "sold south" in the mid-1950 in accordance with the doctrine of "manifest destiny". Peugeot's demise had a great deal to do with getting too close to the Chrysler Corporation :-)
