That sucks........about that time is when I start yelling profanitys and my girlfriend mixes a drink....
  2. Sailmonkey
did the stud break off at both ends?
  3. Sailmonkey
be careful with that stuff, the coolant container is alu, the stud mild steel, and the tube bundle and end plates are phosphor bronze..........just saying, the alu stands a chance of sacrificing. unless the flush is specifically for vehicles with alu heads and brass radiators.

damn that's not messing around!!! Is the cylinder on the old block pitted or just the piston?!
Of course either way the block is cheaper than the time involved in re-building.
  5. Sailmonkey
Hell, I'd bolt it to a couple of chunks of lumber, clean it up, and try to start it at the house......Nice find!!!!
  6. Sailmonkey
Has your head been pronounced dead???
  7. Sailmonkey
Or since the dead one is still made you can potentially re-build it.
  8. Sailmonkey
Yep, that is a phasor....the heat exchanger looks identical to mine. I can't find the two cylinder model on the site anymore, but Kubota should be able to supply parts. Unless it's just as bad as the engine you've got.
  9. Sailmonkey
Running yet? or at least re-assembled?
  10. Sailmonkey
If you need a hand I'll be around all weekend......shivering and re-bedding deck fittings.
