    Hey!

    hehe, thanks!
Time flies. 10 years ago we had that boat.
It's a really roomy and nice boat. Very good downwind, but not the one I prefer if going upwind a lot. We had the boat running upwind at two times. One in Panama, from Taboga to Panama City, about 10 miles. The other one about 100 miles in Tonga. So, if you can, try stay away from head winds above 10-12 kts where there is no build up sea.
Our boat had aluminum water tanks. Not so good. A lot of aluminum oxide.
Downwind 90-180 degree she performed good. Often sailed around 5-6 kts. I think our best 24h was around 150 miles. Took us 27 days to get the 3300 miles from Galapagos to Fatu Hiva. If in very big rough see coming into your beam, the boat can rock rapidly/fast which feels a little bit scary

It was me and Karin (my gf).

Right now in Mexico refitting our 44ft trimaran check us out at "sailing less plastic" on youtube.

    Hello Andreas!
Very impressed with the fact that you sailed an Endeavourcat 30 from FL to Australia. It's one of the reasons I chose to buy my Endeavourcat 30. We hope to use it to island hop the Caribbean next winter. Will spend next few months figuring out FL and the boat.
Can you tell me if you sailed in and rough weather on her, and how she fared if so?
Any info you shed on this boat would be greatly appreciated. You are a gutsy guy. How many were on the boat with you on your passage?
