20i. 2006 John Deere 555 digging ponds building roads and placing logs in the ponds for turtles etc. @ BNC. That's Fred playing in the mud. We were fortunate to find a grady swamp (clay base) for the BNC location. Who buys a swamp? We buy a swamp! 20 acres of flora and fauna galore with lots of edibles. Astonishing beauty at every turn. Not to mention the critters. Have you ever heard of a two toed amphiuma. We've got em. Birds land and sit on Carol's head while she is digging or photgraphing. Skunks walk by, accustomed to Carol. huge snapping & pond turtles, assorted edible fish, bats, hawks, great blue herons other reptiles and amphibians etc. inhabit the ponds and swamp. The evening concert of 10 species of toads, frogs and and assorted insects is outstanding.
