Picture 14 of 58 from Album Album #3 A photobiography
18c. 1999, It took a whole gang of Pirates Cove Riff Raff (affectionate name) to deliver Al E. Gator from Pirates Cove. He was carefully wrapped in a rug carried in the back of a large pick-up. Then Al was placed in his new pen. The pen was located on the edge of the swamp and Al immediately started to build his cave. His nose stuck out and he observed all. Usually the Winters are very mild, but a warm day in a cold Winter was his undoing. He ate a couple large frogs and lay out in the chilling sun trying to muster up enough heat to digest them. It took me several days to determine he was gone.
