10d. 1982 Carol's map. 4,400 miles SF to Mississippi then on to the semi-tropical, warm water, seafood galore, white sandy bays and bayous of Coastal Alabama. Each little sketch illustrates an incident, e.g. Off San Diego a nuclear sub burst thru the surface about 100 yards off our port bow, passing close off our starboard bow. The wash bobbed our 23 ton boat. We have videos of that and the entire cruise.
