    Yes you did, thanks for writing. Reading the articles they were not potable water grade, but then I ducked some other txt and found that Sikaflex 291 will give me the solution I was looking for. I can get that easy.

    Hi Clive, I read your post about Crommelins Bitumen with interest and went to the website. It is an Australian company so it may be a little harder to get in the USA. But my question would be if the bitumen is flexible enough to cover a leaking seam in an aluminum watertank. The website mentioned placing some type of sealant in the corner where the two sides connect. Assuming you worked with the product, what would be your opinion, off the cuff. The website mentioned that the bitumen would adhere to aluminum. Thanks for any info. Thanks.
