No thruster.

Hi Arther, just noticed your words. These boats were designed for 42 hp. Mine has a 52 HP Yanmar. That repower was done by last owner. I would have stayed with original hp. My Dodger is over the companionway. My Mainsheet is just forward of Dodger. I have sailed from Seattle and am now in Indonesia. Great boats these. Sorry I didn't answer sooner. Cheers...Kim

I recently got a Southern Cross 39 hull no 9 with a bit tired Perkins 4108. I saw on your profile you have same boat. Would you give me an advise what kind of engine should I get to replace the Perkins ? Many people sugested Beta Marine 50Hp.

My boat was a bit modified by the previous owner. Special the aft cabin. I am looking for for an ideas how the other biat was finished inside. Have you a bimini / spray hood? wher is the mainsheet attached ?
