Ok, in my boat it was counter-clockwise forward, clockwise backward. Hope it helps. Alberto

Thanks again, the prop rotation will depend on the kind of transmission we use (MS RS).
It would help me if you could remember at what position is the forward/reverse control when moving forward. When you look at the control (Forward-neutral-reverse) from above the engine the it can be moved clockwise an counterclockwise; which of those positions is forward? If you don't remember would you know someone who knows this? I called Volvo in Switzerland talked to someone for 10 minutes and he could not help me!! I sent e-mails to Volvo in Denmark, UK and nobody is able to help. I have to find owners or ex owners to find the answer.
    Thanks
    Peter

    Raphael,
I owned an MD2B before repowering with electric, and my previous boat had an MD6A. Check for the owner's manual at the volvo site, you can download it. I think the shop manual is also available.
    :-)
