    hi steve
great idea to visit anegada! very interesting albeit very flat. one sees the island really late on an approach.
no problem on the lavezzi, she will point abt 35 deg to the wind, but when chartering u hv anyway a full diesel tank incl. it probably pays anyway to hv at least the leeward motor on 2000 rpm to make some speed, unless u hv more than 15 kn wind frm the right direction.
    happy sailing!

hi, my name is Steve, new member to this site. I have an interest in catamarans as I have completed the ASA 114 class and will be charting a Lavezzi 40 this June out of St. Thomas. We want to include Anegada Island in our 7 days. Does the Lavezzi 40 point to the wind good enough to think about making the trip up there (~45 miles away)?
    seb
