Since you've been so interested in my pooch Kooter, I thought I would share this. I took him to see the surgeon for his post surgery exam. She did her exam and told me his recovery was excellent. He will need to be coddled a bit over the next couple of months, can't move about a great deal, especially on slippery surfaces, but she anticipates a complete 100% recovery. Nice to know my $6K worked. I think it was worth it.
