Too bad to see you seem to have lost interest. Hope all is working out for you back in snow-ville

If you've got an unlimited budget, there can be a debate. If you're like the rest of us, and have to work the yacht selection process around your (impressive though it may be) limited budget.

And truthfully, you don't want to be crossing oceans in multihulls without a crew. With a monohull if you overdo it, the boat tips over and comes back up. If a multi goes over, there is a very narrow window of possibility to right it, even in picture-perfect conditions. Miss it, and you're FUBAR.

Have looked at smaller 30-38' trimarans and cheaper cats/projects. But the ultimate problem I have is safety. They're fast as hell, but I like the security of knockdown insurance.

Just popping in to say hi / I'm still alive lol. Oh, I have another question. This seems to be a heated debate.... but where are you on the mono v. multi debate?

You've gotta post some pictures of something, even if they're not "really" yours C'mon now, son. Get your head in the game!
